Habitat: Plentiful near water's edge. In sandy/gravelly, limestone soil.
Description: 8-16 cm tall; 7 cm across; no terminal leaflets. Yellow flowers, roots fiberous, to 6 cm long. Leaflets 12-18, stamens 9+1, petals 10-12 mm across, ovate. Peduncle 6 mm, single in the axils.
