Location: Hwy 16, 5 to 9 km NW of Helotes.
Latitude: 0.000000

Habitat: In roadside grade material, but beyond normally mowed area. Rock, gravel and stoney with humus material interspersed.

Description: Multi-stemmed perennial arising 1 m high from rootstock. Leaves ovate and dentate up to 6 cmm long. Numerous purple flower heads up to 2 cm across.
