Native plants were always of interest. While helping his daughter work on a wildflower collection for school, and realizing the lack of references for plant identification, the idea was born to create a native plant identification website. Thus, Southeasternflora.com was formed in 2006. Southeasternflora.com is a free site. It is a work in progress. Work continues to add plants not currently on the site and to add better photos.
