Shot: Close-up of staminate strobili. Photographer's note: "Pollen Cones. I learned about the Florida Torreya or Stinking Cedar conservation project last year. I photographed the fruit and really wanted to photograph the flowers. I monitored the trees at the Atlanta Botanical Garden and waited. They are finally blooming. These are the male pollen cones."
