Shot: A plant in a woodland. Photographer's Note: "Interrupted fern is a fairly common fern in the high mountains of north Georgia. It is very rare in the Piedmont Provence. Years ago, I found a large colony in north Fulton County, Georgia along the Little River. That population may not have survived because the area was turned into a subdivision. The species was also known from Sawnee Mountain, Forsyth County, Georgia. That population has not been seen in years as far as I know. I found this single plant in Cherokee County, Georgia.."
