Q. Who is Mr. Smarty Plants?

A: There are those who suspect Wildflower Center volunteers are the culpable and capable culprits. Yet, others think staff members play some, albeit small, role. You can torture us with your plant questions, but we will never reveal the Green Guru's secret identity.

Is there a way that I could send a picture of a plant for identification?

We are sorry, but we no longer are able to accept pictures because of an overwhelming work load for the team of volunteers and staff members who answer native plant questions as Mr. Smarty Plants. Please see our Plant Identification page for links to websites that do accept pictures.
