Native Plants

Q. Who is Mr. Smarty Plants?
A: There are those who suspect Wildflower Center volunteers are the culpable and capable culprits. Yet, others think staff members play some, albeit small, role. You can torture us with your plant questions, but we will never reveal the Green Guru's secret identity.

Title: Moving non-native globe willow in Ft. Worth TX
Answered by: Barbara Medford
QUESTION:
I planted a globe willow in a small area in front of my house and it is probably going to need more space. Can I replant it in a more open area without killing it? It is about 8-9 ft tall, 2-3 ft of trunk before branches start and maybe 5-6 ft. wide at top. Just wondering.ANSWER:
We just answered this same question to the same e-mail address, but from Mansfield, TX, today. Please see our previous answer.More Non-Natives Questions
