Q. Who is Mr. Smarty Plants?

A: There are those who suspect Wildflower Center volunteers are the culpable and capable culprits. Yet, others think staff members play some, albeit small, role. You can torture us with your plant questions, but we will never reveal the Green Guru's secret identity.

Title: Locating ruda plants in Florida
Answered by: Barbara Medford

QUESTION:

Where I can find or who sells Ruda plants? in the Miami, Florida area ?

ANSWER:

At the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, we are focused on the use, care and preservation of plants native to North America. Ruda is a native of southern Europe and northern Africa; therefore out of our expertise. However, a similar question, this time for Alabama, has recently been answered by Mr. Smarty Plants. See this previous answer for further information.
