Hop on the bus and enjoy the beauty of wildflowers throughout the Hill Country without the hassle of driving! Join us in celebrating the views along our Texas highways preserved in part by the work of Mrs. Johnson and the Highway Beautification Act of 1965. The adventure will include interpretation and identification by Director of Horticulture Andrea DeLong-Amaya as we head east to see Blackland Prairies in bloom. We’ll make lots of stops for photos, play wildflower bingo, and visit Peckerwood garden in Hempstead. It’s a great way to celebrate spring (or a specific special occasion) with a memorable adventure.
