Watercolor Workshop: Gregg’s Mistflower (Sold Out)

Discover tips and techniques to bring your watercolor paintings to life! In this creative and beginner-friendly class, artist Andrea Patton will guide you through painting Gregg’s mistflower (Conoclinium greggii), our 2025 Wildflower of the Year. Whether you’re new to watercolor or looking to refine your skills, this workshop offers a fun and inspiring way to celebrate native plants through art.
 

What to Bring:
Please note, supplies are not included. You will need the following materials:

  • Watercolor paints in a variety of colors
  • 9×12″ watercolor paper pad
  • Watercolor brushes (variety of sizes)
  • Pencil and kneaded eraser for sketching
  • Painter’s art tape
  • uni-ball Signo white UM-153 pen
  • Optional: 11×14″ watercolor foam board and a small spray bottle to keep paints wet

This class is open to beginner and intermediate artists, ages 15 and up. Youth under 18 must attend with a registered adult chaperone. No experience required—just come ready to create!
