Watercolor Workshop: Cardinal

Discover tips and techniques to bring your watercolor paintings to life! In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to sketch a simple bird and use watercolor techniques to create a beautiful cardinal. No experience required!
What to Bring:
Please note, supplies are not included. Please bring the following materials to class:
- 2–3 pieces of watercolor paper (5×7″, 140 lb cold press preferred)
- Small round brushes: sizes 1, 2, and 3
- Medium round brushes: sizes 6 and 8
- One medium round mop brush: size 18 or 20
- Watercolor paints: red, blue, yellow, green, and black
- Small fine black Sharpie marker
- Art tape
- Pencil for sketching
- Eraser (kneaded preferred)
- Optional: Foam core board for taping watercolor paper
This class is open to beginner and intermediate artists, ages 15 and up. Youth under 18 must attend with a registered adult chaperone.
