Did you know you can get paid to plant your garden? The City of Austin offers residential rebates for switching to waterwise landscaping, making it easier — and more rewarding — to garden with care for our local water supply.

In this session, join Conservation Program Coordinator Chris Charles from Austin Water to learn what rebates are available, how to navigate the application process, and practical tips for making the most of these incentives. Whether you’re planning a new garden bed or simply curious about the program, this class will equip you with the knowledge to save water and money.

What You’ll Learn

  • Which rebates are available for homeowners
  • How to successfully apply and what to expect from the process
  • Tips for choosing waterwise landscaping that fits Austin’s rebate program

This class is designed for adults (ages 15+). Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Registration is required. Space is limited.
