An event every week that begins at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until October 28, 2020
We’re staying open late every evening throughout October to make more hours for wildflowers! Every Tuesday in October we’ll be offering a special menu from Wildflower Café from 5 to 7 p.m., including charcuterie boxes, chips and queso, and tacos from brisket to cilantro-lime cauliflower — all in grab-and-go containers so you can find your perfect picnic spot and dine al fresco. What more could you want? Oh, yes, drinks. We’ve got those too: beer, wine and a special prickly pear mojito.
On Oct. 27, for our final Tuesday Twilights of the season, we are thrilled to welcome the delightful trio that is line upon line percussion with an original performance, “New Works for Amplified Plants and Objects.” There will be two distanced-performances: 5:15 & 6:15 p.m.*
This is a new work inspired by native plants and migratory birds, and is part of an NEA-sponsored project between Collide Arts and the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Later this year, guests can see a video showcase and sound installation from this project as part of Luminations.
How else to use those extra hours?
Tuesday Twilights are included with regular admission. All admissions are presently by reservation and are always free for members. Join today!
