
Discover the flavors of the Texas landscape in this Taste of Place edible exploration. This class will introduce a variety of native plants that can make their way from the garden to the table, with a focus on species well-suited to our region and climate.
We’ll begin indoors with a presentation covering standout culinary candidates, along with tips for growing, harvesting, and safely preparing them. Then, we’ll head into the gardens for a closer look at these plants in their natural setting. Optional tastings will be available throughout the experience.
This class is designed for adults (ages 15+). Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Space is limited and registration is required.
