Sunflowers on Tile in Alcohol Inks

Express your love of sunflowers with a new artistic technique using alcohol inks on ceramic tile and Nara paper. With this long-lasting technique and unique medium you’ll enjoy creating your own blooming sunflower fields with experienced artist, Andrea Patton, as your guide. Starting out small painting single sunflowers, Andrea will instruct as you perfect your skills using alcohol inks before moving on to create your own blossoming field. Take home two pieces of art, both filled with beautifully blended sunflowers and a new skill!

This class is open to both beginners and intermediate artists looking to learn a new technique for painting, ages 16 and up.

This class will take place in person at the Wildflower Center. Space is limited and registration is required. Masks are optional. Please review our safety guidelines here.

Please note: Supplies are included with registration. Alcohol inks can stain clothes, please bring a smock or an old shirt to wear. Alcohol inks can also have a strong smell and may stain hands. A face mask and latex-free gloves are optional.
