Gardening for Newcomers (SOLD OUT)

New to Texas, or just new to gardening with native plants? Howdy and welcome! Come on down to the official Botanic Garden of Texas to learn about everything from cacti to coneflowers and how to start a garden in the Lone Star State. A native plant expert will help you learn to identify plants suited for your space and gardening goals plus share tips for keeping plants and landscapes healthy. At the end of this class, participants will also enjoy a private shopping experience at our Fall Native Plant Sale, complete with support from our native plant experts!

This class will take place in person at the Wildflower Center. Space is limited and registration is required. Face masks are optional. Please review our Safety Guidelines before your visit.
