The Science of Native Plant Dyes – VIRTUAL

Bring the colors of the meadow into your textiles by exploring the techniques and history of native plants used to dye fiber. Journey back in time with Dr. Alice Le Duc as she unravels extraction processes and how various types of mordants (binders) are used to create natural dyes. Find out which plants you can gather from your garden to brighten your fibers this spring!

Space is limited and registration is required. This virtual event will be held via Zoom.
Participants will receive an email with the link for the Zoom meeting prior to the event. Make sure you have Zoom installed and set up to participate.
