Beyond the Basics of Rakes and Brooms

Get moving this fall whilst tending your garden! Learn all about the various types of rakes and brooms and see first hand, the best techniques for using each tool in the garden. This hands-on class will expand your world on raking and sweeping beyond what you thought you knew. Best of all, you’ll finally learn how to rake in tight spaces and how to pick up leaves while leaving the mulch where it’s meant to be. This hands-on class will really change how you feel about garden chores!
Take home your very own adjustable rake at the end of this class! One steel adjustable rake is included with each registration.
This class is open to adult gardeners of all ages. No prior experience required.
This class will take place in person at the Wildflower Center. Space is limited and registration is required. Face masks are optional. Please review our Safety Guidelines before your visit.
