Qigong instructor, Dr. Chelsea Xu

Carve out some time for self-care in the gardens with Qigong (pronounced “chee-gung”) and yoga, whole body and mind practices integrating physical postures, breathing techniques and meditation. Dr. Chelsea Xu will teach gentle rhythmic movements of the body to help reduce stress, decrease chronic pain, build strength, establish balance, and increase focus. Each session ends with guided meditation amidst nature’s tranquil evening sounds. This class is for ages 16 and up.

Wednesdays, April 4 – May 9, 7 – 8 p.m.

Space is limited and registration is required. Members receive a discount on registration. Learn more about membership here.

$15 per person, per class or $81 for the series of six classes

Dr. Chelsea Xu received her M.D. in China in 1983 and has been practicing Qigong and Tai Chi for over 30 years. She has been a faculty at Academy of Oriental Medicine (AOMA) since 2003 where she teaches both practices.
