Have you ever wanted to add a water feature to your garden that goes beyond a simple fountain? This class not only teaches you how — it also sends you home with plants and fish to get started! 

With eight man-made water features on site, our gardens are proof that you don’t need a natural stream or spring to bring the beauty of water into your landscape. In this workshop, you’ll learn the do’s and don’ts of water gardening and gain practical skills you can use at home.

What You’ll Learn

• How to build a simple above-ground still pond
• How to create a stream with recirculating water
• How to select and grow easy-to-care-for native aquatic plants
• What wildlife you can attract with your pond
• What materials you’ll need and how to source them

Adding a water feature isn’t as hard as it looks — and it creates a truly special focal point in your garden. Plus, participants will have the option to leave with some plant material to help jump-start their project.
