Pen & Petal: Botanical Poetry (NEW!)

Sunflowers and sonnets, violets and verses — lyricists and flowers have a romance with roots reaching back to the birth of the written word. Be inspired as you look close to discover the structure, physiology, and very essence of flowers. Class will weave through the gardens before retreating to read and write with instructor guidance.

Jaime deBlanc-Knowles holds an M.A. in creative writing from the University of Texas at Austin. Her work has been published in Post Road and Meridian, and she has been the recipient of a MacDowell Fellowship and a Lighthouse Works Fellowship. She is currently working on her second novel.
