Nature Nights DIY are free, family-friendly evenings filled with self-guided exciting explorations of native plants, animals and the ecology of Central Texas. Nature Nights will be a bit different this year, each evening will feature themed activity kits with engagement for the entire family to participate in. Activity kits will come complete with everything you need for an exciting self-guided evening including information, activities, scavenger hunts and nature crafting for the entire family to enjoy.

Pick up your activity kit each evening from 6 – 9 p.m. while supplies last. Nature Nights DIY activity kits include materials and instructions for crafts, scavenger hunts and activities that can be enjoyed both at the Wildflower Center and at home. Supplies are limited and activity kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis to those who have reserved a ticket online in advance. No organization-led activities or presentations will take place this year.

Join us this week for Sunflowers & More and help us celebrate the Wildflower of the Year: the sunflower! A flower so beautiful that it’s been the inspiration for artists around the world, much like Van Gogh. Stand tall among the sunflowers as your family explores the Wildflower Center and learn just about everything there is to know about our native wildflowers.

Free admission 6 – 9 p.m.
Regular admission is charged during the day. Admission is always free for members.

Wildflower Café will provide a tent in the Courtyard with meals, snacks and refreshments available for purchase.

This program will take place in person at the Wildflower Center. Face masks are optional when attending this class. Please review our safety guidelines before your visit.
