Nature Nights DIY are free, family-friendly evenings filled with self-guided exciting explorations of native plants, animals and the ecology of Central Texas. Nature Nights will be a bit different this year, each evening will feature themed activity kits with engagement for the entire family to participate in. Activity kits will come complete with everything you need for an exciting self-guided evening including information, activities, scavenger hunts and nature crafting for the entire family to enjoy.
Pick up your activity kit each evening from 6 – 9 p.m. while supplies last. Nature Nights DIY activity kits include materials and instructions for crafts, scavenger hunts and activities that can be enjoyed both at the Wildflower Center and at home. Supplies are limited and activity kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis to those who have reserved a ticket online in advance. No organization-led activities or presentations will take place this year.
Join us for our last Nature Nights DIY with Pollinators on the Go during National Pollinator Week and learn all about the special role that pollinators play. Get to know your favorite pollinators and meet some new ones along the way.
Free admission 6 – 9 p.m.
Regular admission is charged during the day. Admission is always free for members.
Wildflower Café will provide a tent in the Courtyard with meals, snacks and refreshments available for purchase.
This program will take place in person at the Wildflower Center. Face masks are optional when attending this class. Please review our safety guidelines before your visit.

Nature Night DIY Kits will be available to the first 400 youth guests with pre-reserved online tickets. To receive your Nature Night DIY Kit families must check-in at our Admissions Kiosk. Here you will be given a ticket for each youth, this ticket allows the youth to pick up their kit in the courtyard beginning at 6 p.m. while supplies last.
Wildflower Café will have a pop-up in the Courtyard with food and drink for purchase.
Limited parking is available in the Wildflower Center parking lot on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional parking can be found on LaCrosse Avenue and guests may park in the adjacent neighborhoods. Please be mindful of hydrants, signs, driveways and pedestrians.
Bring a refillable water bottle! We have many fountains and water stations.
H-E-Buddy will be out with treats and smiles located in the Family Garden Pavillion!
We recommend sunscreen, insect spray, comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes for walking.
Visitors may bring picnics. Please be mindful of your trash.
Per Wildflower Center policy, dogs are not permitted (with the exception of service dogs).
