Native plants are not just for wild spaces. See how one homeowner created seven unique gardens around their home using all native plants. Venture from one garden to another through gates and arches. The homeowner was inspired by the courtyard at the Wildflower Center and used that inspiration to repurpose large ledge stones unearthed during the construction of their home. Strategically replaced, these stones now form raised planting areas, dry stack walls, sunken gardens, and even a dry creek bed. Their garden is not only a place of solace for humans, but also home to many bees, birds, butterflies and reptiles. Enjoy a glass a wine or beer while experiencing the beauty of this special home garden.
Tickets are $35 per person and include a beverage. Ticket sales benefit the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
