Mother’s Day Celebration

Celebrate Mother’s Day (and Mother Nature) at the Wildflower Center! Guests can enjoy spring wildflowers, order–ahead picnic boxes, music performances, and much more.

PLEASE NOTE: Our Mother’s Day Celebration is on, rain or shine! If needed, everything will be moved indoors.

Registration Info

• Admission is free for members. Get mom a Wildflower Center membership for Mother’s Day!  
• Pre-registration is required for picnic boxes and craft participation.
• Moms will also receive a free gift! Available while supplies last.

Food & Drink

• Pre-order a picnic box from Spread & Co. by May 4. Boxes are $22 each and include a full sandwich, side salad, and chips. One box makes the perfect snack for two or lunch for one. Vegetarian option available.  
• Spread & Co. will also have a snack cart selling $10 cheese and charcuterie cones onsite!
• Picnic boxes must be picked up in the Auditorium between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Wildflower Mug & Tea Craft (Sold Out)

Looking for a fun and meaningful way to celebrate Mom? Bring the little ones for a special Mother’s Day craft they’ll be proud to give!

In this two-part workshop, participants will:

• Paint a wildflower-themed mug — perfect for Mom’s morning tea or coffee
• Create a custom tea blend using native yaupon, herbs, and dried fruits
• Leave with a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted gift crafted just for mom

More details:

• Supplies are limited and pre-registration is required.
• Craft station open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Little House — stop by anytime within that window
• $25 per participant – includes one mug and tea “kit”
• All ages welcome (children must be accompanied by an adult)

Music

• Kelsi Creek will perform in the Courtyard from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
• Spread out a picnic blanket and enjoy performances by Brazilian Choro band Caros Amigos from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
