For most fall is signified by the changing of the colors of leaves but for us here in Central Texas, fall is signified by the abundance of native grasses. This fall join Minnette Marr, Conservation Botanist and native grass expert, for a deep dive into the morphology of native grasses found in the Texas Hill Country. Learn how to recognize dominant grass species by identifying distinguishing characteristics and how you too can take part in the citizen science initiative to help conservationists around the world identify native grasses and grass look-alikes.

This class will take place online via Zoom. Registrants will receive an email with the link for the Zoom meeting prior to the event. Make sure you have Zoom installed and set up to participate.
