Experience the Center embellished with lights as thousands of luminarias glow along the paths and gardens. Stroll through a natural wonderland with delightful displays, live music, festive foods and more. This year’s event features newly lit trails and an exclusive performance of Blue Lapis Light’s “Oneness of Being,” aerial dance choreography inspired by the Wildflower Center.

Options for Admission

Buy your ticket online and receive a wristband at the parking lot before getting on the shuttle (NOTE: There is no parking at the Wildflower Center. See important parking information below). Show us your ticket from your phone or print it out before arriving. Guests arriving to the Center on the shuttle with wristbands will enter directly.

DANCE & MUSIC

Blue Lapis Light

Where: Great Hall, with viewing space in the Savanna Meadow
When: 7:15 – 7:45 p.m. and 9:15 – 9:45 p.m.

Blue Lapis Light will perform their site work, “Oneness of Being,” both weekends with two shows per night at the Wildflower Center’s Great Hall. “Oneness of Being” is inspired by our relationship to nature and the beauty of the natural world. Surrounded by native habitat, trees and fields of indigenous plants, dancers on columns and ropes imbue the wonder and mystery of our interaction with the gardens.

Chris Gebhard (First Week)

Where: Theme Gardens
When: Dec. 5 – 8, 6 – 7 p.m. and 8 – 9 p.m.

Chris Gebhard is a virtuoso jazz guitarist who regularly delights listeners around the Austin area.

Forrest Pope (Second Week)

Where: Theme Gardens
When: Dec. 12 – 15, 6 – 7 p.m. and 8 – 9 p.m.

Forrest Pope is known for his classic Texas sound and inspired covers of songs we all know and love.

GETTING HERE & PARKING

  • There will be NO PARKING at the Wildflower Center this year except for handicapped guests with permits.
  • Parking and shuttle service will be at the University of St. Augustine on 5401 La Crosse Ave. Click here for a map.
  • There is no charge to park and take the shuttle.
  • Shuttles will depart every five to 10 minutes or when full.
  • Shuttle service begins at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 10:30 p.m.
  • Ride-shares will drop off at the Wildflower Center (guests using ride-shares will need to obtain a wristband at the Admissions Kiosk).

TICKET & WEATHER POLICY

Your ticket purchase helps to support the mission of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center throughout the year. All ticket sales are final. This is a rain or shine event. Should a night of the event be cancelled by the Center due to extreme weather conditions, your ticket may be used on another night of the event. If this is not possible, a refund will be processed upon request. An email with your first and last name and original ticket date must be sent to [email protected] within five (5) business of the original ticket date. Tickets are refunded at the discretion of the Center.
