Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is excited to announce a partnership with The Contemporary Austin Art School! Drawing and watercolor classes will be taught in our McDermott Learning Center, a beautifully restored 19th-century carriage house nestled in the gardens.
Transparent watercolor is the perfect medium for capturing landscapes. Create beautiful light patterns and establish a mood in your paintings by working in the studio as well as our gardens and natural areas. Demonstrations will emphasize the use of fresh, lively color. Some experience in watercolor painting is recommended.
Registration is required and space is limited.
$199 per person for seven sessions
