This all-ages science talk and interactive event explores how human-caused global change influences plants and the insects and microbes that interact with them.
The activity-based tabling session before the talk will focus on conservation and science. Then, Dr. Jennifer Lau, this year’s featured guest for The University of Texas at Austin’s annual Jean Andrews Lecture in Plant Biology, will discuss her research on the intersection of communities, ecology and evolution.
Interactive Tabling Session: 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
Talk: 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
This event is free with the cost of general admission and part of UT’s Texas Science Festival. Get more info and register at sciencefest.utexas.edu.
