Interested in collecting and storing seeds from native plants in your garden but don’t know where to start? Looking for the best tips & tricks for propagating from live plants?
Join Center Horticulturist Leslie Uppinghouse and Greenhouse Specialist Jay Caddel as they introduce you to the basics of native seed collection and the art of plant propagation. In this hands-on workshop students will have a chance to spend time in the gardens collecting and processing seeds with Leslie before getting down to the nitty gritty of propagating from live plants with Jay. Not only will students leave this class with their new found knowledge of propagation, they will also have the opportunity to take home a few propagation experiments for their own garden!
Open to adults of all ages. No prior experience is necessary.
This class will be kept small to create opportunities for hands-on learning, discussion and Q&A with your expert instructor.
This class will take place in person at the Wildflower Center. Space is limited and registration is required. Masks are optional. Please review our safety guidelines here.
