Fall Native Plant Sale

An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Sunday, Friday and Saturday, repeating until October 27, 2024
Our Fall Native Plant Sale features a variety of Texas natives, including flowering perennials, grasses, vines, shrubs and trees for shady and sunny gardens. Native plants conserve water; lower mowing costs; provide habitat for birds, butterflies and other wildlife; protect and enrich soil; and reduce the use of fertilizer and pesticides. Plus, they’re beautiful!

We’ll be set up in the Texas Arboretum which is easily accessed at the end of La Crosse Avenue. Guests may park in our lot or on the street and walk right up to the plant sale entrance. Shoppers will be able to access the sale without paying admission to the gardens (garden admission applies separately).
Plant Sale Entry
MEMBERS ONLY weekend: Reservations will be available 7 days in advance, starting Sept. 20
GENERAL PUBLIC weekends: Guests will be admitted to the plant sale on a first-come, first-served basis. Plant Sale admission is FREE. If you would like to explore the gardens after shopping, general admission to Center grounds will apply.
Pro Tips
- Please arrive at the Wildflower Center early enough to be at the plant sale area by the time of your reservation. We recommend 15 minutes or longer before the time on your ticket. Capacity is limited. Punctuality will help us serve you and other shoppers better and maximize your time at the plant sale.
- Bring your own cart to haul plants if possible.
- Bring drinking water and wear a hat and sunscreen.
- After you purchase your plants, we can hold them while you explore and enjoy the Center, but plants must be picked up by 2 p.m.
- You’ll be able to drive right up to the pickup area when you’re ready to go. We’ll also help load your plants into your vehicle.

1 gallon pots: $10.00
2-3 gallon pots: $27.00
5 gallon pots: $36.00
