Design beautifully illustrated cactus blooms with a new artistic technique using alcohol inks that will pop on black paper. With this unique medium you’ll enjoy creating your own blooming cactus with experienced artist, Andrea Patton, as your guide. Learn how to use canned air alongside alcohol inks to add texture and dimension to your art.
This class is open to both beginners and intermediate artists looking to learn a new technique for painting, ages 16 and up. Participants will take home two pieces of art, both filled with beautifully blended blooming cacti and a new skill!
This class will take place in person at the Wildflower Center. Space is limited and registration is required. Masks are optional. Please review our safety guidelines here.

Please note: Supplies are included with registration. Alcohol inks can stain clothes, please bring a smock or an old shirt to wear. Alcohol inks can also have a strong smell and may stain hands. A face mask and latex-free gloves are optional.
