It’s finally bluebonnet season! Well, bluebonnet propagation season that is.
Texas bluebonnets are annual plants, meaning they go from seed to flower to seed in one year. They germinate in the fall and grow throughout the winter, and usually bloom around the end of March to mid-May. This makes fall is the best season for planting bluebonnet seeds. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the tips and tricks for successfully planting, germinating and transplanting bluebonnet seeds. Learn how to care for your seedlings and successfully transplant them into your garden. Registrants will even be able to take home their own sowed bluebonnet seeds to plant in their garden.
