Unleash your creativity as you combine the beauty of birds with delicate wildflowers in watercolor. You’ll start by learning how to sketch a bird and compose a balanced drawing, then bring your masterpiece to life with watercolor techniques. Guided instruction will cover painting wings, flowers, and leaves, with helpful tips tailored to all skill levels.
What to Bring:
Supplies are not included. Please bring the following to class:
- Watercolor paints in a variety of colors
- 9×12″ watercolor paper pad
- Watercolor brushes of varying sizes
- A pencil for sketching and kneaded eraser
- Painter’s art tape
- Optional: 11×14″ watercolor foam board and small water spray bottle to keep paints wet
