Bats need our help now more than ever—over half of Texas’ native bat species are at risk of extinction. These incredible creatures play a vital role in maintaining healthy ecosystems, from controlling insect populations to pollinating plants.

Join Erin Cord, Community Engagement Manager at Bat Conservation International, for an introduction to the fascinating world of bats. In this class, you’ll learn bat basics—how they live, what they do for us, and why they matter—as well as simple, actionable tips for making your home or garden more bat-friendly. Whether you’re new to bat conservation or looking for ways to deepen your impact, this class is a great place to start.
