Get out your rhinestones and fancy boots and join us May 4, 2018!

As the state botanic garden and arboretum, we feel it’s our solemn obligation to throw the biggest, brightest blooming-est party we can imagine to celebrate and further the conservation of native plants. Join us for our all-out, lone-star-spangled, rhinestone wrangled, brand new but shamelessly nostalgic Boots & Blooms party on May 4 from 6 – 10 p.m.

There will be two-stepping to live music by Austin’s famous Derailers, a best-in-boots pageant, tasty Texas bites and beverages, and photo ops with UT’s very own party cattle-ist, Bevo!

All ticket sales help the Wildflower Center continue to grow and inspire the conservation of native plants.

General Admission, $150, includes:

What’s more Texan than a country western band? Dancing to a country western band between sips of Texas brews and bites of barbecue among the bluebonnets! We managed to lasso one of Austin’s most energetic, authentic, rockin’, honky tonkin’ bands, the Derailers. Challenged by their fans to create a sound that mirrors the shuffle of happy boots on a hardwood floor, the Derailers feed hungry dancehall crowds from the Broken Spoke to the Bastrop Opera House with their classic country beats and a 60s pop sensibility.
