Conference Info

20th-ish annual
Texas Association of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta Conference
January 27, 28 and 29, 2011
at the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center

The Texas Association of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta was created by professional plant geeks and garden growers over 20 years ago to encourage a bond and transference of information and ideas among colleagues. Today this organization has flourished in numbers and has united the people of the great gardens of Texas together to inspire and promote one another.

Over the years this conference has been held at many of the beautiful places across Texas. This year the conference will be held at the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center. This garden exists to promote the sustainable use and conservation of native wildflowers, plants and landscapes. We have 4 acres of gardens to demonstrate the beauty and diversity of wildflowers and other native plants and over two hundred acres of Texas Hill Country with nature trails throughout.

We hope you can join us in Austin to celebrate TABGA’s 20th-ish year!
