Description: Naturescapes is a multifaceted botanical services business. We offer vegetation surveys and horticultural consultations. Educational programs. Environmentally oriented garden installation and maintenance. Native and heirloom plant sales. Over 100 species of native plants are grown out of doors and without pesticides from seeds, cuttings and divisions from local populations.We broker larger materials from regional nurseries upon request. We specailize in plants for bird and butterfly habitats, plants with traditional uses and those for difficult local conditions ie salt flooding, salt spray, wet soil, xeric conditions.
Credentials: BS in Horticulture, MS in Plant and Environmental Sciences. Master's thesis "Survey of the Vascular Flora of Beaufort County, SC" identified over 200 new taxa for the county and over 700 new taxa for the state and numerous new populations of rare species.
