Associate Program
Belong to Wildflower Center Associate ProgramDescription: Herring Run Nursery, a program of Blue Water Baltimore, is a native plant nursery specializing in shrubs, perennials and trees native to Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region. We are a non-profit nursery, growing native plants for use in stream restoration and for sale to residential and commercial customers. We grow with minimal man-made chemicals and grow most of our own plants. We also strive to sell plants we don’t grow from local nurseries. We offer conservation landscaping design and installation with a number of landscaping practices that reduce and use rain water effectively. Our specialty is designing and installing rain gardens and rain barrels as well as converting lawns to low maintenance native landscapes. Our nursery is open by appointment only, and on select weekend days in spring and fall. Contact Darin Crew , Nursery Manager, or 410-254-1577 x 104 or [email protected] for more information.
Credentials: Herring Run Nursery is proud member of the Maryland Landscape and Nursery Association, the Maryland Horticultural Society, and the Maryland Native Plant Society. We participate in the Growing Home Campaign and Marylanders Plant Trees tree planting incenti
