Sift clay through a sifter to eliminate lumps.
Measure out 1 part of seeds, to 3 parts of compost, to 5 parts of clay.
Mix the compost and seeds together first, and then add the clay along enough water to hold the mixture together.
Roll out a small amount of the seed mixture to the size of about a penny.
Store seed balls in a cool, dry place until you are ready to sow them. Sow seed balls into a cleared area.
Enjoy your wildflower garden and use seed balls for future wildflower planting projects.
