"We want to be part of the effort to help those who have been devastated by Hurricane Katrina," said Susan Rieff, executive director, Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. "I encourage people to come enjoy the serenity of the Wildflower Center on Labor Day, and at the same time contribute to the relief efforts."
The Wildflower Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating people about the beauty and environmental necessity of native plants.
Admission fees for the Wildflower Center are as follows:
$6.00 adults
$5.00 seniors & students
$2.50 for children ages 5 through 12
Admission hours on Labor Day are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
