WHAT: The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center of The University of Texas at Austin has joined the Blue Star Museums program in offering free admission to all active duty military personnel and immediate family through September 5, 2011.
WHEN: The Center grounds are open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 5:30 p.m. The Center is closed July 4.

ABOUT: The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is joining other local establishments in offering free admission through Labor Day to active-duty military and their immediate family members (military ID holder and five immediate family members). Active duty military include Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and active duty National Guard and active duty Reserve members. Military personnel will receive free admission to all Center facilities, including the gardens, café, art exhibits and store.
