Background: In honor of Lady Bird Johnson, who died July 11, 2007, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at The University of Texas at Austin will be open to the public at no charge on Friday, July 11. Visitors will also receive a free packet of wildflower seeds in memory of our environmental first lady.
