Broad-scale Yellow-eyed Grass is a member of the yellow-eyed grass family (family Xyridaceae). Yellow-eyed grasses are herbs with grass-like basal leaves and erect, leafless stalks bearing flowers in axils of leathery bracts which form globose or cylindric heads.
