Heath Cliff-rose is a small, intricate, straggling bush, 1-5 ft. high, with dark-brown, fissured bark and small, leathery, evergreen leaves. Five-petaled flowers are solitary, occuring on the ends of the short branches. Petals are white or yellowish. The fruit is a hairy achene, tipped by a whitish, feathery tail.
