Skyblue Clustervine is a sprawling evergreen vine with several stems emerging from a woody perennial caudex. New growth is herbaceous, becoming woody with age. Stems climb by twining and may reach 10 feet in length. The stems and leaves are covered in stellate trichomes. Leaves are ovate to lanceolate and may be slightly cordate at the base. The plant flowers primarily during fall and winter months and is often covered with blue flowers.

Size Notes: Stems 3 to 10 feet long, twining, with stellate hairs.
Leaf: Leaves 1 to 3 inches long and 1/2 to 3/4 as wide.
Flower: Flowers borne from leaf axils singly or in clusters on long peduncles. Open in the morning and close after dark; rotate, about 3/4 inch in diameter; sky blue with a white center. Stamens and pistils exserted.
