This smooth, twining vine has funnel-shaped flowers, pinkish with white stripes.
Flowers: 2-3 (5-7.5 cm) long; petals 5, fused together; calyx 5-lobed, enclosed in 2 pale green bracts.
Leaves: 2-4 (5-10 cm) long; arrow-shaped or triangular.

Growing Conditions

Light Requirement: Sun , Part Shade , Shade
Conditions Comments: Each tightly twisted flower bud unwinds into a broad funnel during the day, re-twisting at night and when it has finished blooming. (Kershaw) Although hedge false-bindweed can be a serious weed, it can produce striking flowered blankets.
