Leaf Arrangement: Opposite

Size Notes: Up to about 5 feet tall.
Leaf: Leaves toothed or occasionally entire, minutely pubescent.
Flower: Without ray flowers, capitulum composed of disc flowers arranged cylindrically, creamy yellowish-green, often tinged purple.
Fruit: Fruit is a cypsela (pl. cypselae). Though technically incorrect, the fruit is often referred to as an achene.
