As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Description: We are a university biological field station where research is conducted dealing with the ecology and biodiversity of the southern Appalachian Mountains. There is a botanical garden associated with the station.
