As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Native Plant Focus: We promote the preservation of native prairie and encourage the public to replant natives whereever possible.
Publications: GHF News (quarterly newsletter)
Description: GHF is a non-profit member organization devoted to prairie preservation and education. We manage our own property near Topeka, Kansas containing a remnant native prairie. We also sponsor educational programs including wildlflower walks at local prairie habitats.
