Native Plants
As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Affiliates are organizations that partner with the Wildflower Center to encourage the preservation and use of native plants in different regions of the country.

Native Plant Focus: We promote the preservation of native prairie and encourage the public to replant natives whereever possible.

Description: GHF is a non-profit member organization devoted to prairie preservation and education. We manage our own property near Topeka, Kansas containing a remnant native prairie. We also sponsor educational programs including wildlflower walks at local prairie habitats.
